CutoAge - Skin elasticity

CutoAge is a sophsticated measure of skin elasticity as determined by the Courage + Khazaka MPA580 Cutometer®. Using a highly sensitive probe, this device gently sucks up a small area of skin and measures with a laser the extent to which the skin returns back to normal. By comparing the results to our proprietary database, we are able to determine a CutoAge - the relative age of a patient's skin using their skin elasticity as compared to that of other patients in the same age group.

For many years elasticity measurements with the Cutometer® have been recognized as the gold standard in dermatology and cosmetology and have been used to support the latest discoveries in both fields. Due to its precision and ease of use compared to other elasticity measurement methods, the Cutometer® is mentioned in most studies on this subject worldwide.
